Bacon links

From a discussion on Knife Fight about bacon, I discovered the following:

bacon cupcakes
bacon candy
bacon ice cream
bacon baklava

I must now try these.

Of course, these are just more evidence that any food can be made better with bacon.

(Bonus points if you figure out why I think the subject header is funny.)

Excerpt from the bacon cupcakes recipe

    1) Cook some bacon in a fry pan (about 6 thick strips). Reserve the drippings and place in the fridge to solidify. Mince 1/4 a cup of the bacon. The chef should eat whatever is left to assure that the bacon is tasty.

    Emphasis mine.

Oh yes. This must be tried.

Can’t say that I’m quite the bacon enthusiast that you are, but it is okay every now and then. Here’s a recipe idea for you, though. I’ve heard that there are restaurants out there that offer peanut butter and bacon double cheeseburgers. These sound vile to me, but apparently they’re very popular and supposedly quite tasty. I think some places give out coupons for free angioplasty with biggy sized orders.

Oh, and concerning your subject header…I’d generally consider reading your mind to be a scary thing, but I have a couple guesses. It’s either because everything is linked to bacon (Kevin Bacon) or that bacon doesn’t come in links…saugages do.
